The Iron Curtain™ Filtration System is among

manganese from water.
The reason your water can taste, look and smell
so bad is the incredibly high concentrations of
dissolved minerals. You can't see or feel them,
but they're there! And you can sure smell and
taste them.
Your iron water passes through an aeration
tank which converts dissolved minerals such as
iron, manganese, and sulfur into physical
particles. These particles continue circulating
in the tank long enough to grow to a size
where they can be trapped in the filter. The
Iron Curtain Filtration system then removes
these minerals . . . leaving clean, good
smelling, good tasting water.

Manganese Greensand
Oxidizes Iron and Sulfur and removes these impurities by filtration. Use on water where pH is not above 6.5 and iron or manganese is not above 15 P.P.M. Hydrogen Sulfide not above 5 M.P.M. Automatically regenerated with Potassium Permanganate.

RUSTY™ eliminates Iron, Manganese, and Hydrogen Sulfide without the use of salts or harsh chemicals. The system does the job using only air and water. The control valve is a patented design specifically for the oxidation of Iron in water.
Using a slightly larger than normal tank enables the valve to inject air into the tank, creating an air bubble at the top of the tank. Water in the tank, compresses the air. Raw water enters the tank, passing through the compressed air and exposing the Iron to the air. The Iron in the water oxidizes, making it easy for the filter medium to remove the Iron from the water.
